Un mes después de los VarelaLeaks, el abogado asegura que las conversaciones del exmandatario con el empresario Liberman dejan al descubierto un posible tráfico de influencias.
Este miércoles se presentó ante el Ministerio Público el abogado Guillermo Cochez, para interponer una denuncia contra el expresidente Juan Carlos Varela y el empresario Guillermo Liberman, por el supuesto delito contra la Administración Pública en la modalidad de tráfico de influencia, revelado tras el escándalo de los VarelaLeaks, en el que cual se revelan conversaciones que sostenía Varela con el empresario.
Guillermo Cochez, indicó que el tráfico de influencias es un delito “muy grave del cual el ex mandatario es responsable” . Además expresó que Panamá se encuentra en una mala posición en cuanto a Justicia, se espera que con la elección de los nuevos magistrados por el presidente Laurentino Cortizo, haya un poco más de orden en la Corte Suprema de Justicia.
Los Varelaleaks salieron a relucir a principios del mes de noviembre dejando expuestas las conversaciones de Whatsapp que sostuvo el expresidente Juan Carlos Varela, entre 2017 y 2018 con miembros de su gabinete, la Procuradora General Kenia Porcell, embajadores y representantes de la vida política internacional, en las que se develan “tráfico de influencias, y la corrupción al más alto nivel”, así lo afirma la página VarelaLeaks.
